2012 JOE GERBER SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION/RENEWAL FORMS ARE AVAILABLE
Applications for Joe Gerber Scholarships and renewal forms for previous scholarship winners are now available at Orland High School and the Butte College Orland Center. Up to ten scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded at the Orland Alumni Association Annual Dinner February 28th, 2012. Applicants must be a graduate of Orland High School and have established an maintained a GPA of at least 3.0 as a full-time student at an accredited college, university, or vocational/trade school. Scholarship funds must be used to purchase books, pay tuition, and/or purchase other school materials. Applications should be mailed to OAA (JGUSP), P.O. Box 755, Orland, CA 95963, and must be received no later than February 3rd, 2012.
2011 OAA SCHOLARSHIPS
OAA Scholarships in the amount of $750 each were awarded to Diego Abad, Anna Garcia, and Janice Thor at the Orland High School Scholarship Awards Ceremony, May 24th 2011 in the Orland High School Gymnasium.

The Orland Alumni Association is proud to announce the names of the 2011 Joe Gerber Scholarship winners. Pictured above receiving their awards of $1,000 each at the Golden Grads Luncheon May 14th, 2011 at the Orland High School Gymnasium are Cody Wackerman, Michael Swann, Alexander Swanberg, Steven Garman, Courtney Fichter, Kelsey Lohse, and Emily Moloney. Also receiving scholarships but unable to attend (due to out of state school commitments, final examinations, or work) are Megan Bruce, Kyle Goings, Franklin Howard, Joel Mann, and Katie Pendergrass.
Each scholarship recipient is a graduate of Orland High School, and has established and maintained a GPA of at least 3.0 as a full time student at an accredited college, university or vocational/trade school. The scholarship funds must be used to purchase books, pay tuition, and/or purchase other school materials.
Over the past ten years, Mr. Joe Gerber (OHS class of 1932) and his wife Doris have donated in excess of $174,000 in scholarship funds to assist OHS graduates with their higher educational needs. OAA is deeply grateful to Joe and Doris Gerber.
